Today we reviewed multiplying with a 2 digit multiplier and did our corrections from the Check Up page 272. We marked the review pages 275 and 276.

Please do pages 277 and 278 ( but not the puzzle on page 278) for tomorrow. Practice your multiples (counting by 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) . Remember, practice makes perfect!

Well, we are continuing to work on learning how to divide with a 2 digit multiplier. Remember to add the 0 when you are multiplying with the tens.

Please finish page 269 # 8 to 33.

Remember the class rule, when the question does not tell you what to estimate to, estimate the number to the place value of the number. The estimate questions are rounded to the tens on this page.

Good News! we can go on the Math World Day contest again for a few more days. They had such a huge response that not everyone could get on the site. Soooooooo, if you want to, you can go on the site again at home and increase your points. Yahoo!

Today we learned how to multiply with three factors. Please do pages 256 and 257. Here is a sample question: 3x2x5= 30
3x2=6
6x5=30
Remember to put the answer in at the question after you finish the equations!

You need to do both sets of equations for each question. You can stack the questions if you want. Have fun!

We finished doing slides, flips and turns on page 234 and 235. Then we worked on lines of symmetry on pages 236 and 237. We learned how to use a mira. Then we started to learn how to solve problems drawing a diagram on pages 244 and 245. Please finish page 245 #3 and 4.

Today we learned a lot. All about slides, flips and turns. We did pages 227,228 229 232 and 233. We skipped pages 230 and 231 but we read the jokes about terns and turns and had a good laugh. We started doing page 234 so please finish it for tomorrow. See you all tomorrow!
